Building a new boat is a complicated and challenging mission. A number of factors must be taken into account. For modern ships, there are often the lines below the waterline that mean the most, both in terms of consumption and sailing in the sea. We have close dialogue with ship designers to create the best hulls at all times.
But also across the waterline, design means a lot. In Eidesvik we have used many different variants. From traditional offshore vessels with overhanging promotion, to avant-design with superstructure behind. The latter is especially known for its increased comfort for the crew. We have also used X-Bow design that is known to handle hard sea in a comfortable way. We know that the meaning is about the appearance of these boats are divided. But one thing is undeniable; Appearance means something.
