Naming ceremony for Oceanic Sirius
Eidesvik newbuilding, Oceanic Sirius, was named in an official ceremony in Ulsteinvik, Norway, on 1 October.
Lady sponsor of the vessel is Mrs. Danielle Malcor, wife of Jean-Georges Malcor, CEO of CGGVeritas.

Oceanic Sirius, an advanced seismic research vessel of the SX120 type from Ulstein Design & Solutions, will be delivered to the owners Eidesvik and CGGVeritas on 3 October. Oceanic Sirius is designed and built in accordance with strict environmental standards and equipped with state-of-the-art technology for advanced seismic research operations. She is sister vessel to the Oceanic Vega, delivered from ULSTEIN in July 2010. |
