Extraordinary General Meeting

The new § 5.11 a in the "Almennaksje"-law  allows for the Company in their articles of association to decide that the documents to  the General Assembly can be made available on its web pages, rather than be sent out together with the notice. This also applies to documents under according to the law shall be sent out together with the notice of the General Assembly. The individual shareholder is still entitled to the documents sent  free of charge, if they are ask the company to do so.

Changing this would result in significant environmental gains and cost savings for Eidesvik Offshore ASA. It is therefore proposed that Eidesvik Offshore ASA's articles of assosiation will be changed in an extraordinary general meeting  to make it possible for this to take effect already for the Annual General Meeting in 2010.
